Aptos Foundation expands data partnerships to improve accessibility and functionality
In a significant step aimed at making decentralized data more accessible and efficient for both users and developers, the Aptos Foundation, known for its commitment to delivering the lowest-latency and highest-throughput L1 blockchain, today a slew of strategic partnerships, projects unveiled, and integrations during the Aptos Ecosystem Summit. This collaboration is expected to strengthen data integration services, simplify data standardization and improve dapp searchability on the Aptos blockchain.
Aptos Foundation’s latest initiatives have drawn prominent data providers and integrators into its fold, including Dune, Nansen, Space x Time, Token Terminal, DappRadar, The Tie, Flipside Crypto and Elliptic. The primary goals of these partnerships are to empower data providers to maximize the potential to build on the Aptos blockchain, provide comprehensive data integration services to the Aptos ecosystem and community, and the seamless and secure integration of the Move on Facilitate Aptos programming language.
Bashar Lazaar, head of grants and ecosystem at Aptos Foundation, emphasized the importance of these partnerships in the organization’s mission to improve the user experience and provide value to the community.
He said: “Working with the world’s leading Web3 data integration providers, we enable unprecedented opportunities for protocols and projects to transition to a multichain operation or move entirely from a previous platform to Aptos. “
The Aptos Foundation’s new data partners span use cases, projects and value propositions, bringing the best of everything to the Aptos ecosystem:
DappRadar: DappRadar tracks over 15,000 dapps in DeFi, gaming, social and more, and 39,000+ NFT collections on over 60 chains. DappRadar supports Web3 users as they discover new dapps, providing on-chain data and insights to help them make decisions along the way. Dune Analytics: Dune Analytics is the leading crypto data platform on a mission to make crypto data accessible through organized, decoded, human-readable blockchain data across chains. Millions of users and contributors take advantage of DUNE’s largest and most comprehensive crypto dataset on the market. In fact, they have 1.5 million datasets, 3 TB of data added daily, 600,000 decoded tables and 14 chain coverage with complete historical data. Flipside Crypto: Flipside Crypto is a leading on-chain data analytics platform that empowers the Web3 community to build better data-driven products. Flipside offers free access to their trusted data on 20+ blockchains; plus their data is tagged, making it easy for developers and analysts to query, create, and build. Nansen: Nansen is a blockchain analytics platform that enriches chain data with millions of wallet tags. Crypto investors use Nansen to discover opportunities, perform due diligence and defend their portfolios with Nansen’s real-time dashboards and alerts. Space and Time: Space and Time scales zero-knowledge tokens into a decentralized data warehouse loaded with on- and off-chain data. They prioritize security and ensure tamper-free communication at scale. The Tie: The Tie serves hundreds of leading institutions in crypto, including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, OTC banks and market makers. Through this partnership, crypto’s leading institutions will have unparalleled access to raw and transformed Aptos blockchain data as well as exposure to developments across the Aptos ecosystem. Token Terminal: Token Terminal is a full-stack on-chain data platform focused on standardizing financial and alternative data for the most widely used blockchains and dApps out there – including the leading investors and operators in crypto. Token Terminal ingests over 100,000 transactions per day from over 15 blockchains and manages over 50 TB of raw blockchain data to power its leading standardized financial and alternative datasets.
In particular, this collaboration promises to usher in a new era for data accessibility and use within the Aptos community, transcending the boundaries of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Fredrik Haga, co-founder and CEO of Dune, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying: “We are delighted to embark on this collaboration with the Aptos Foundation. As crypto’s data platform, our mission is to make crypto data accessible to everyone. This integration will open up a new world of possibilities for Dune’s community and users, including giving every industry participant data insights and tools beyond just the EVM landscape.
Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik echoed this sentiment and highlighted the potential to deliver superior on-chain data and analytics to the Aptos ecosystem.
He noted, “This collaboration will empower investors and crypto teams to dive deep into the Aptos ecosystem. We are excited to help create a winner in the future of finance.”
Conor Flanagan, head of ecosystem at Flipside Crypto, highlighted the positive and collaborative nature of the Aptos community.
Emphasizing the ease of using the Move programming language for data analysis on the Aptos blockchain, he said, “Using Move has been a breeze for both our Data Engineering team and analyst communities to monitor on-chain activity on Aptos to digest, compile and analyze.”
The Aptos Foundation’s efforts have already brought together top data integration companies from the Web3 space. Plans for further expansion of partnerships and new collaborations are in the pipeline for the year ahead. The overarching goal is to ensure that building on the Aptos blockchain becomes a data-rich and insight-driven experience for protocols, projects and developers.
The Aptos Foundation’s commitment to data accessibility and collaboration with leading partners underscores its determination to position itself as a pioneering force in the blockchain space. As these partnerships continue to develop, the Aptos ecosystem is poised to flourish, providing its users with a wealth of data-driven possibilities.
