Shorts are being liquidated today and bulls are celebrating. This is certainly a bullish sign and it raises hopes for continuation of the upward trend. Will we see a new ATH for ETH in October?

Ethereum Technical Analysis: End Of Month Charting

The first chart we will analyze is on the Weekly time frame. The end of 2024 and early 2025 saw some wild volatility. And then volume grew as price rose to brake the 2024 high, which currently serves as support. We have yet to break and close above the 2021 ATH, which for many will be the start of the long awaited Alt season. Being above the moving averages indicates our uptrend.

Zooming in on the 1D time frame, we can see that the moving averages switched to uptrend mode in July. Pleasant! We have the July high which recently acted as support and the low from August 3rd as Key Support Level at $3350. RSI has reached the bottom of its range, which means it has reset. Now there is enough air to fill to the upside to see price push and approach the $5,000s.

Concluding Thoughts and Lower Time Frame View

If we complete our Ethereum technical analysis on the 4H time frame, we can clearly see the Low Time Frame Market Structure Break (LTF MSB). $4210 is a level that needs to be reclaimed first, before moving higher. It is possible that the $3860 holds and we do not see the price going lower. But it’s good to have ammo from it that backtracks further. RSI has been reset. Price here is below the 4H moving averages and it needs to reclaim $4400 to go back above.
